Tri City Appliance was created by Jim Benelisha in 1979 as a used appliance store. It was later expanded to include sale and service of new appliances and parts. The company was purchased in 2001 by Richard and Terri Brand and has grown to include vacuum cleaners, and plumbing fixtures.

Sales of appliances suffered a minor setback after 9/11/2001. In addition, the company lost access to scratch & dent product (which was a major portion of our business). In 2002 we focused in developing our high-end product sales and that portion of the business has grown tremendously. We have continued to invest in displays and showroom improvements that should help us emerge as the dominant player in our market. We now offer the areas largest showroom.

Our best sales tool has been and will continue to be word-of-mouth- recommendations. It is therefore vital that each employee work hard to present a good image and to build trust and loyalty in out community.

The Brand family has always taken great pride in doing quality work at a fair price. We believe in living by the Golden Rule. We also believe that honest and hard work will have their rewards. Our family has been in the construction and retail business for over 45 years and we appreciate the value of teamwork as well as the importance of individual effort.
